UV Glow Body Paint
Nightclub UV Glow Bodypaint
This started simply as a way to look a bit cooler, get creative for fun and get attention from girls when clubbing. More the latter, getting better at it people suggested I start charging for it so gave that a go with a nightclub stall also selling various flashing and glow products.
Basically it was using skin safe fluorescent or neon ultra violet glow hair-gel in pipette bottles to do glow in the dark bodypainting on clubbers in backpacker party and psi trance nightclub nights.
The rave clubs tending to want more arty, the former more flirty and sexual for the girls depending if they wanted ‘good girl’ or ‘bad girl’ artwork and the guys being cheeky and a bit rude hence the not so ‘appropriately worded’ example below with the skull and snake. Both genders using these to draw attention from the opposite gender and express their sexual. These examples are very tame compared to most of the artwork done.
Also 99% of photos did not come out either under exposed or blurry or both. They were taken with a SLR camera on a tripod using the very low level ambient UV nightclub lighting, on clubbers who had little patience, who did not want to sit still, were clearly not professional models, with high speed film and no flash as this was pre low light digital cameras, thus no opportunity to adjust the camera and retake.
Mostly I only had minutes to do the artwork hence the doodling level of it, in fact most was very cheeky rube innuendo, the more outrageous the better especially on the girls who wanted that kind of attention and on showing it to friends, the friends all wanted it as well only wilder.
Artwork like love hearts with initials were requested by those in couples to be romantic with partners and I helped shy guys by pouring it in their hands and literally turning them towards the now smirking, very much in on the game and very receptive girl, who clearly liked them and wanted them to stop being shy. Whispering something like, "Dude, you man or mouse she likes you go for it..." helped get the guy to get the message the girl wanted him to get hands on & start kissing. Hopefully I got to play cupid & some are now happy married.
