This was a large double bed size prop tarantula spider project originally meant for a cool Halloween front of house horror tableau, but also a portfolio piece. Basically I wanted the coolest Halloween house and more like the Halloween equivalent of the Christmas lit house that can be spotted by airliners, but also to learn how to do such a thing and then use this to try and find work in art departments.

This project turned into a massive never-ending money and time pit but though this have learned a lot and had many problem-solving

The legs all have thick wire and foam wire joints for flexibility and the head, body and legs all rapidly unbolt with a electric screwdriver.
